Detailed Condition & Flaw Report: This item is explicitly sold as-is. please read the following structural details carefully before purchasing:

  • Overall Condition: This 76-year-old racing artifact is in good Used Condition, remaining remarkably rigid with exceptional front-facing color vibrancy and text crispness.

  • Creases: The thick cardstock body remains remarkably flat, sturdy, and robust. It shows no structural horizontal pocket folds, heavy vertical center creases, or soft surface buckling through the primary typography fields.

  • Edges & Corners: The right-hand margin features a clean, uniform, straight-cut outer edge. The top and bottom edges are also clean and straight. The left-hand margin features a rough, hand-separated edge showing uneven paper fibers and standard paper loss from when the main gate admission coupon was detached upon entrance. The corners show expected minor handling softness and vintage rounding but avoid heavy split-layer dog-earing.

  • Surface & Markings: The front face features a beautiful, bright yellow background with an elegant textured security underprint pattern. The print layout showcases bold typography with eye-catching contrast, including "Derby Day" stamped in vivid red-orange and "Club House Box Seat" in dark purple. All printed fields, seating stamps, and prices are fully readable and crisp. The front surface is exceptionally clean, with no modern ink pen signatures, stray pencil marks, or water stains.

  • Reverse Side Flaws: The back of the stub features a pale yellow security layout with a light green circular watermark design and full legal disclaimer text printed by "Bentley, Murray Co. Chicago". Please Note: The reverse side exhibits an old amber-tinted adhesive tape residue band along the left edge. There is a prominent patch of surface paper skinning/paper loss running along that same left torn boundary, where it was historically removed from a scrapbook or display backing. This skinning partially masks a few letters of the disclaimer text (specifically in the words "person", "claims", and "admitted"). However, this wear does not puncture the cardstock or diminish the beautiful front presentation in any way.

  • Photo Reminder: Please examine all high-resolution listing photos closely to verify the exact torn edges, front face clarity, and reverse side scrapbook surface loss before placing your order.
